Normal visa

  • From € 98 consulate fees plus € 13.50 Visa Service Center fees
  • The visa is issued for a period of three to twelve months from the date of issue. The exact duration of the visa to be issued is at the discretion of the respective consular authority
  • The visa can be applied for at the earliest eight weeks before entry
    Applicants from Asian countries, such as China, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Turkey are subjected to a special formal examination. Additional documents to be submitted are to be expected
  • Applicants who are or are currently citizens of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan or Sri Lanka, as well as former citizens of India, can expect an application period of around five months
  • Applicants must not be in possession of a still valid visa for India when applying for a visa for India. This leads to the immediate rejection of the application. If the passport with the valid visa is no longer available, an official declaration from the police or the issuing authority is essential.
  • Applicants with a press card must present this upon application
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months upon arrival
